The Oakland-Macomb Youth Football Association consists of thirteen franchise teams from cities in Oakland and Macomb Counties which have football and cheerleading squads at four levels Football from Flag (age 6-7), to Tackle football at the Freshman(age 8-9), Junior Varsity (age 10-11) and Varsity (age 12-13 ) The weight limits are for freshmen (130) JV (150) and Varsity (180). The Cheer program falls under the same levels and ages.

• The flag level is an entry level instructional program that keeps scores, however does not keep official standings.
• The tackle program competes at three levels, Freshman through Varsity, and is based upon age and weight for football and age or grade level for cheerleaders.
• The Freshmen , Junior Varsity and Varsity top teams have Playoffs , Divisional Championships and Superbowl over a three week period ending in November.
• Cheerleading has a Cheer and Dance Comptetion the first Week of November for the Freshmen through Varsity with the top three teams in each division getting awards. The Flag division holds a dance Comptetion to entertain the familys.
