Part XVI

Weather Rules

Section 1:        If lightning is observed, a minimum of a ½ hour wait period without the observation of lighting shall take place prior to any practice, scrimmage, or game starting or restarting.

Section 2:        In cases of inclement weather, the decision as to whether a game should be played shall be decided by the Football General Manager(s) and the Crew Chief for the officials

Section 3:        Games scores stand as final after the second quarter. Games called before half-time will resume from point of interruption unless both organizations agree to start from the beginning.  Games will be delayed for no more than 2 hours in total. If a game is unable to resume the game will be rescheduled if possible.

Section 4:        Once the decision of game status is rendered, it shall be considered final and received in the spirit of good sportsmanship.

Section 5:        Any game called may be rescheduled if it complies with Part XVI, Section 2.
